Our House
High Country House offers pure luxury for the discriminating traveler located on two acres surrounded by hundreds of pine and spruce trees creating a quiet and private sanctuary. This comfort and privacy, while just minutes walk down a country lane to the heart of Bragg Creek, with it's many art and craft stores and excellent restaurants.
The many large windows in the great room, living area and each of the bedrooms allows for the comfortable viewing of deer, squirrels, rabbits and birds that wander through the acreage. The large front porch is great for fair weather viewing, a relaxing cup of coffee, or evening aperitif.
The comfortable and spacious living room is finished with beautiful antiques, comfy seating and a cozy wood burning fireplace where one can truly relax.
Breakfast is served at the large dining room table located in the great room or if weather permits, possibly seated on the front porch. Included is fresh ground coffee, tea, juices and entrées made fresh for your pleasure.

We have 2 beautifully appointed theme bedrooms with ensuite (attached private) bathrooms. All of our bedrooms are fitted with luxury linen, soft duvets and plush pillows for your ultimate comfort and pleasure. Each room is also outfitted with a radio alarm clock, a hair drier, sample Mary Kay products, a colour tv and dvd player with a large assortment of movies to choose from and organic soap. For those that like, wine glasses with a cork screw are also included.
The Moroccan room welcomes you with comfortable seating and two dormer window seats allowing our visitor to curl up and relax. This room has a King size four post canopied bed and an ensuite bathroom with a two person jetted tub.
The Zen room is an oasis of calm and peace with a hint of the Orient. Featuring two dormer window seats, a Queen size four post bed and an ensuite bathroom that includes a BainUltra air jet tub for two.
Our Breakfasts
We try very hard to use organic or free range ingredients as often as possible in our fresh home made foods. All of the dishes are made to order so make sure you leave enough time to sit back and enjoy your breakfast.
Breakfast is served in the dining room which has large viewing windows overlooking the garden. Often you can see deer strolling through the garden or lazing under the trees.
